Since its inception, Mayta has been a space dedicated to contemporary Peruvian cuisine, with a focus on local products and cutting-edge culinary techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b21df99637c755fb1c7c19eb55a93adb\">In 2019, Mayta was included in the list of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants. In 2022, it was included in The World's 50 Best list, being chosen again in 2023, 2024, and in its latest edition, held in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1f5341cb430728b6a0522f8e4aa87a6b\">It was recognized as the best restaurant in the world by The World Culinary Awards in 2022, and as the best restaurant in Latin America in the 2023 and 2024 editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8e5e160038ead4216a056bbc9db25d82\">El chef Jaime Pesaque expande su visi\u00f3n culinaria con la creaci\u00f3n de diversos conceptos gastron\u00f3micos en Lima, como Sapiens, 500 Grados, Callao y Mad Burger.
